Please join us august 12th at 3pm to meet Sesthasak (Seth) Boonchai, NMAC’s first photographer in residence.

Seth grew up in Jackson and lived in the Millsaps avenue Arts District in the early 90s. He has his MFA in painting from the University of New Orleans and has exhibited extensively throughout the U.S. He is currently splitting time between Brooklyn NY and New Orleans and is on the faculty of the School of Visual Arts in the BFA Photo department.

Seth’s project while here at NMAC, involves him visiting old friends and acquaintances¬† who have been involved in the Arts here in Mississippi for the last 20 years. Seth is also making portraits of young artists, designers, and other creatives that have chosen Mississippi as their homebase.
